Katarzyna i Andrzej Mazurkiewiczowie

Katarzyna and Andrzej Mazurkiewicz – travellers for whom a passion for travelling has become a way of life. They are professional photographers, they organise treks and expeditions into the Himalayas, they work with radio stations, they have prepared several photo exhibitions, they organise a prestigious travel event - TERRA.

They left the Tatra routes in 1988 to face their first trek in the Himalayas. It was then, during their four-month trip to India and Nepal, that they discovered the thrill of long travels. Their next trips took them to Siberia, the Russian Far East, Mongolia, Central Asia, Iran, Pakistan and Tibet. The travels resulted in professional slide shows presented in Poland, Germany and Switzerland.

They love the Himalayas for their diversity. They found their way back there a number of times (spending a total of three years in the region).
